1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Arcane Angler, a fishing MMORPG operated by Prajjidna Daliman ("we," "us," "our," or "Owner"), located in Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands, Indonesia.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Arcane Angler game, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Important:
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2.2 Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account by providing:
- A unique username and profile username
- A valid email address
- A secure password meeting our requirements (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and numbers)
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
2.3 Account Verification
We may require email verification before you can access certain features. You agree to verify your email address when requested.
3. Beta Test Status and Service Availability
Arcane Angler is currently in Beta Test status. This means:
- The Service is provided "as-is" and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
- Features, gameplay mechanics, and content are subject to change without notice
- Game data, including player progress, may be reset or modified during development
- Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance or updates
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time
No Guarantees: While we strive to preserve player progress, we cannot guarantee that your game data or achievements will be retained through all phases of development. However, active paid subscriptions and purchased Premium Boosters will always be honored — in the event of a data reset, we will restore your subscription status, subscriber benefits, and Premium Booster inventory, or provide a refund for any affected period.
4. Supporter Subscriptions
4.1 Subscription Tiers
We offer three monthly subscription tiers to support the game's development:
- Mythic Supporter ($2.99/month): Mythic badge, 4 exclusive Mythic avatars, special chat color, 5 Premium Boosters per month, 3 extra fish showcases
- Exotic Supporter ($4.99/month): Exotic badge, 4 exclusive Exotic avatars (includes all 4 Mythic avatars), special chat color, 10 Premium Boosters per month, 6 extra fish showcases
- Arcane Supporter ($7.99/month): Arcane badge, 6 exclusive Arcane avatars (includes all 4 Exotic and 4 Mythic avatars), special chat color, 25 Premium Boosters per month, 9 extra fish showcases
4.2 Subscription Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you subscribe
- Payments are processed by the payment processor associated with your platform: PayPal for web purchases, or Google Play Billing for purchases made on Android
- Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel
- Monthly free Premium Boosters are granted on your subscription renewal date
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
4.3 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, by contacting PayPal (web), or through Google Play (Android)
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to subscriber benefits until the end of the paid period
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused subscription time
- Free monthly Premium Boosters granted during your subscription remain in your inventory after cancellation
4.4 Subscription Benefits
- Exclusive avatars and badges are available only while your subscription is active
- If you cancel or your subscription lapses, you will lose access to exclusive avatars and badges (but may regain them if you resubscribe)
- Premium Boosters granted as part of your subscription are yours to keep and use indefinitely, even after cancellation
- We reserve the right to modify subscription benefits with reasonable notice to active subscribers
5. Premium Booster Purchases
5.1 Premium Booster Bundles
Premium Boosters provide a 50% XP boost to all players for 1 hour when activated. They can be purchased in the following bundles:
- 10 Premium Boosters: $3.50
- 50 Premium Boosters: $15.00
- 100 Premium Boosters: $25.00
5.2 Premium Booster Usage
- Premium Boosters are stored in your account inventory indefinitely
- You may activate Premium Boosters at any time
- If a Premium Booster is already active, newly activated boosters are queued and will activate automatically when the current booster expires
- Premium Boosters affect all players globally for their 1-hour duration
- Premium Boosters are non-transferable and cannot be traded, sold, or gifted to other players
5.3 One-Time Purchase
Premium Booster purchases are one-time transactions processed by PayPal (web) or Google Play Billing (Android). You will receive your boosters immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
6. Virtual Items and In-Game Currency
6.1 No Real-World Value
All virtual items, including but not limited to:
- Premium Boosters
- Exclusive avatars and badges
- In-game currency (Gold, Relics)
- Fish, equipment, and other in-game items
Have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of real-world compensation.
6.2 Limited License
When you purchase or earn virtual items, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use those items solely within the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
6.3 No Ownership
You do not own virtual items. All virtual items remain the property of Prajjidna Daliman. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, remove, or discontinue virtual items at any time
- Change the attributes, functionality, or availability of virtual items
- Limit the quantity or availability of virtual items
6.4 No Transfers or Trading
Virtual items may not be transferred, sold, traded, or given to other players except through mechanisms explicitly provided within the Service. Currently, no such mechanisms exist for Premium Boosters, avatars, or badges.
7. Refund Policy
Digital Goods Notice:
All purchases in Arcane Angler are digital goods delivered immediately upon payment confirmation. Due to the instant delivery nature of digital content, refunds are limited as described below.

7.2 Virtual Items Have No Cash Value
Premium Boosters, Supporter Badges, and Exclusive Avatars are virtual items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold.
7.3 Legal Consumer Rights
This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Some jurisdictions (including the European Union, United Kingdom, and Australia) may provide additional refund rights that override this policy. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, your legal rights remain unaffected.
7.4 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact the appropriate payment processor within 1 hour of your purchase:
- Web purchases (PayPal): Contact PayPal directly with your transaction ID and Arcane Angler username
- Android purchases (Google Play): Request a refund through the Google Play Store or Google Play support
For all refund requests, please include:
- Your order number or transaction ID
- Your Arcane Angler username
- Detailed reason for the refund request
Refund requests are reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of the respective payment processor in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
8. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
8.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Cheating or Exploitation: Using cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software to modify or interfere with the Service
- Account Sharing: Sharing your account credentials with others or allowing others to use your account
- Multiple Accounts: Creating or using multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages; we use IP address tracking and device fingerprinting to detect and prevent multi-accounting
- Harassment: Harassing, threatening, or abusing other players through chat, comments, or any other means
- Offensive Content: Posting or sharing content that is profane, vulgar, racist, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise offensive
- Impersonation: Impersonating staff members, other players, or any other person or entity
- Spam: Sending unsolicited advertisements, spam, or repetitive messages in chat or comments
- Real-Money Trading: Buying, selling, or trading in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money outside the Service
- Fraud: Engaging in fraudulent activities, including payment fraud, refund abuse, or chargeback fraud
- System Interference: Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
- Data Mining: Using any automated means to access, scrape, or collect data from the Service without our express written permission
8.2 Chat and Communication
The Service includes public chat and profile comment features. All communications are subject to our profanity filter and moderation. You agree to:
- Use chat and comments respectfully and constructively
- Refrain from posting links, URLs, email addresses, or personal contact information
- Not attempt to circumvent or bypass the profanity filter
- Respect other players' privacy and boundaries
We reserve the right to monitor, review, and moderate all communications. Violations may result in chat restrictions or account termination.
8.4 Tavern Mini-Game and Virtual Wagering
The Service includes an optional Tavern mini-game feature that allows players to wager in-game currency on chance-based outcomes. By participating in the Tavern mini-game, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All wagering in the Tavern uses exclusively in-game virtual currency (Gold and/or Relics) that has no real-world monetary value (see Section 7: Virtual Items and In-Game Currency)
- No real money, Premium Boosters, or other purchased items can be wagered in the Tavern mini-game
- Outcomes are determined by server-side random number generation and are subject to the game's rules and probabilities
- The Tavern mini-game is provided for entertainment purposes only and does not constitute real-money gambling under Indonesian law or the laws of any jurisdiction where virtual currency with no cash value is used
- In-game currency lost through the Tavern mini-game is not refundable and has no real-world monetary value
- Players under the age of 18 are encouraged to exercise discretion; parental supervision is recommended for younger players participating in chance-based game features
- We reserve the right to modify, limit, restrict, or remove the Tavern mini-game at any time without notice or compensation
8.3 User-Generated Content
You may submit limited user-generated content, including:
- Profile bio (maximum 500 characters)
- Profile comments on other players' profiles (maximum 500 characters)
You may not upload custom images, avatars, or other files. Avatars are selected from in-game options only.
By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with the Service.
9. Account Termination and Suspension
9.1 Termination by Company
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for reasonable cause, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Engaging in prohibited activities
- Fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Chargebacks or payment disputes
- Any other conduct that we reasonably determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or us
9.2 Effect of Termination
Upon termination of your account:
- You will immediately lose access to the Service and your account
- You may not create a new account without our express permission
- Outstanding payment obligations remain due and payable
- Active subscriptions will be canceled
Refunds Upon Termination:
If your account is terminated for violating these Terms (cheating, fraud, abuse, chargebacks, etc.), you will not receive refunds for any purchases, subscriptions, or virtual items. If we terminate your account for reasons not related to your conduct (e.g., service discontinuation), we will provide a pro-rated refund for any active subscription period remaining and for unused purchased Premium Boosters.
9.3 Account Deletion Requests
You may request permanent deletion of your account by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon receiving a valid deletion request:
- We will permanently delete your account and associated data
- Deletion is immediate and irreversible
- No refunds will be provided for subscriptions, purchases, or unused virtual items
- You may create a new account in the future, but will not retain any data or items from your deleted account
10. Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Ownership
The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, graphics, artwork, text, code, and design, is owned by Prajjidna Daliman and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms.
10.3 Asset Credits and AI-Assisted Creation
Game artwork and visual assets are created using a combination of:
- AI-assisted art generation tools under commercial licenses (including PixelLab AI), which grant full ownership of the generated assets to Arcane Angler under the terms of those licenses
- Original artwork contributed by volunteer artists who have granted Arcane Angler a perpetual, royalty-free license to use their contributions in the Service
All assets are used with appropriate rights and licenses. Arcane Angler owns or is properly licensed to use all visual content in the Service.
10.4 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the Service to create derivative works or competing services
- Frame or mirror any part of the Service without our express written permission
11. Disclaimers and Warranties
AS-IS Service:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prajjidna Daliman disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
- Warranties regarding data preservation or retention
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
- The Service will be available at all times or at any specific time
- Your game progress, data, or purchases will be preserved through updates or development phases
- Any errors, bugs, or issues will be identified or resolved
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAJJIDNA DALIMAN, HIS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Loss of virtual items, currency, or game progress
- Service interruptions, errors, or downtime
- Actions of other users or third parties
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
These limitations apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prajjidna Daliman, his officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Any content you submit or transmit through the Service
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 International Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI), or such other arbitration body as the parties may mutually agree upon in writing.
The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be Jakarta, Indonesia, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
14.3 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights or confidential information.
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you via email or through an in-game announcement for material changes
- Provide at least 30 days' notice for changes affecting paid subscriptions or purchases
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Prajjidna Daliman regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
16.5 Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party payment processors depending on the platform: PayPal for web purchases and Google Play Billing for Android purchases. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for their services or any issues arising from payment processing.
16.6 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, labor disputes, or internet/telecommunications failures.
16.7 Language
These Terms are written in English. Any translations provided are for convenience only. In case of discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
